1998 // Shower G /
--
The product Shower G has a fiberglass exterior shell with interior infill options to suit individual needs. The project draws its influences from the logic of letterform making and the Sanrio “Hello Kitty” products. This shower is just one module in a system that takes each of the common western bathroom utilities (e.g. shower, toilet, and sink) as individual plug-in cells. These modules are constructed to merge and to link with each other in a fluid matter to create a custom expression of ergonomics. The units can be organized interchangeably for different size rooms and environments.

Each option of infill panel is designed to embody comfort, hygiene, and fitness. In shape and operation they reflect the enjoyment of sensual pleasures of well-being. Presently, four prototypes of infill panels are available:
-
NURB Massage:
“Egg Carton” textured surfaces of soft, closed-cell foam rubber combined with massaging water jet.
-
Zen-soft Massage:
Varying sizes of massaging textures organizes randomly along the walls and floor.
-
Airbag:
Inflatable clear vinyl panels with a quilted surface.
-
Conscious:
Stainless steel polished to a mirror finish allows you to make sure that the natural you looks great from every angle.
