This new SCI-Arc facility is conceived based upon the idea of continuous flexibility. As the school and its pedagogy shifts and evolves, the design for this new addition enhances SCI-Arc's desire for continuous change. The project is a framework for open-source, research sharing. It has the specifications to display both slow and fast media representations. A platform is designated for outdoor lecture performance with five large, flat screen monitors capturing the face of the presenter with quad-orthographic views and a solo teleprompter projecting simultaneously. SCI-Arc Café is a soft propaganda machine designed as an infrastructure for architectural exhibitionism.
